Fanforge.net does not filter content. Fanforge.net asks of you to report suspected altercations and not act upon them alone. Harassment is not allowed here. This applies to Fiction content.

1. Please spell check and grammar check all stories and poems. There are free guides for spelling and grammar online unless it is a Beta work. Beta works are works in progress.
3. Please respect the reviewers, they are harsh for your benefit. Be thoughtful and flexible in your reading of reviews. Please discuss the issues openly. This is what allows us all to grow.
4. Please respect the writers. Not everyone is of the same writing level nor experience. Be constructive and objective in writing your reviews.
5. Please respect each other. As we are all fans of various fandoms, we share a common bond. Treat all fans equally. No harassment and no spamming.

If you have a multi-chapter story, please add them via 'manage stories' and click 'add new chapter'. There are places for author and story notes so use them. Also, 'chapter notes' is a description for just that chapter and will show up under 'table of contents'. Please do not upload chapters, series, or segments of a story as separate entries.

Entries not allowed:

1. Non-stories: lists, bloopers, polls, previews (like a trailer or an ad for it), challenges, notes, etc.
2. One or two liners.
3. MST: comments inserted in between the flow of a copied story.
4. Fiction stories with non-fictional characters: actors, musicians, etc.
5. Any form of interactive entry: choose your adventure, second person/you based, Q&As, and etc. This may be allowed later.
6. Chat/script format and keyboard dialog based entries. This may be allowed later.
7. IMAGES: No pornographic images. That is to say nothing rated 18+. Case by case arbitrary judgement, please report your suspicions.

Actions not allowed:

1. Multiple entries of the same material. There can only be one copy of any unique story on the entire site. If it requires more than one category, please choose all associated categories, it will appear in all of them.
2. Rewriting names of characters/locations of one story in order to upload to multiple categories.
3. Copying from a previously published work (including musical lyrics) not in the public domain. No plagiarism. This is possible grounds for banning and once again a case by case arbitrary judgement.

General rules:

1. Entry title and summary must be rated Everyone. No swearing. Case by case arbitrary judgement.
2. Entry must be given the proper rating. It is understood that the rating is an opinion.
3. Entry must be placed in proper category/s. No exceptions. It will be relocated if incorrect.
4. Use all attribute fields. Use 'ctrl' to select and deselect for multiple selections.

Content Ratings: Note, we treat sex and violence equally as they are both equally harmful to minors.

* Everyone: No swearing, sex, drugs, violence of any kind.
* 13+: Mild swearing, sex, drugs, violence.
* 18+: Moderate swearing, sex, drugs, and violence.
* 21+: Pornographic: Not currently allowed. Please be careful.

We do not currently accept the 21+ rating which would be High swearing, sex, drugs and violence. Do not write stories that exhibit a high amount of explicit content. We will handle this on a case by case basis and all judgments are arbitrary by nature. Please report violations.

Fanforge.net respects the expressed wishes of the following authors/publishers and will not archive entries based on their work regardless of content medium (if a movie or tv series is based upon their novel or comic, it will not be an excuse to do a work based upon the movie):
